Melissa has been building her career as a design consultant with home renovations. She has a creative eye for redesigning existing interior settings and improving on existing designs, with an emphasis on older properties. She is detail-oriented when it comes to finding the right designs for the space with regard to flooring, walls, paint, furniture, room accents, window coverings, lighting as well as exterior landscapes and hardscapes.
Melissa continues to work and learn from other design consultants to expand her passion. She has experience in sourcing materials through local resources and continues to do so on upcoming projects.
With her creative and well-rounded educational background, she has been able to utilize her skills in every aspect of design consulting. She understands the needs of time-management, budget concepts, and working with a team of sub-contractors, plumbing, electricians, concrete, etc…
Besides her interior/exterior decorating, she is heavily involved with choosing architectural logistics details of a space. She has found herself determining where to put closets, doorways, walkways and any other feature of renovating a home. Every project is different from the other and she has always meets or exceeds the end goal.
