Do not be afraid to leave where you are — to leave your old world behind. Be brave enough to travel to the unknown, to open yourself to something new. Strive to see extraordinary places and meet extraordinary people. Dream with the dreamers and do what you once thought was unthinkable. Explore with the explorers and discover endless possibilities. Do not let fear be your map. Do not let comfort determine where you stay. Let curiosity guide you. Let your eagerness for adventure, for diversity, for aliveness lead you. Do not be afraid of getting lost — you may just find what you need. Lose your logic, find your soul. Lose your path, find your direction. Lose your way, find yourself. You have the power to determine your journey. Listen to your heart and you will always be home.

I am currently a consultant in the healthcare industry, but my passion is renovating older homes. I have some extraordinary experiences and stories that I will be sharing here.
I believe in being a life-long learner. I have two undergraduate degrees in law and multi-media/digital cinema and television, combined with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration.
Being a cancer survivor has changed my life in so many interesting ways. I see the world as a remarkable and beautiful place. I live each day with vitality and exuberance. I also love to give back. I am a supporter of several non-profit organizations from cancer research to endangered species and habitat conservation.
Through my past experiences, I’ve learned to live each day to the fullest and follow my passions and interests. Together with my partner for the past 10 years, Chris Lavigne, we combine our interests to make home remodeling a wonderful way to express ourselves through creating something beautiful out of what others may see as an eyesore. We draw on these experiences to bring fresh and creative ideas to our home remodeling projects.
When I can, I enjoy traveling to see and learn new things, and to gain inspiration from others. There are so many new concepts with home design, both interior and exterior. I try to capture these and make them into my own vision, and incorporate as many new ideas that I can to help bring the older home back to life to look new and exciting again.
