Nashville Old Hickory Lake
This country cottage is a very unique property located just off of I-65 for easy access in and out of downtown Nashville and a few short miles to Anchor High Marina at Old Hickory Lake. You’ll get a country feel of Tennessee charm that you will not find in the city on this 1.3 acres of land. The location is perfect with all the benefits of being close to nature, but yet only 20 minutes from hot spots such as East Nashville. Plus, parking is a breeze in the over-sized attached two car garage. Dogs ok!
The country cottage boasts a unique interior design with vaulted ceilings in the great room, dining room, and eat-in style kitchen. It is similar to cabins that you would find in the Smoky Mountains. The home is decorated in a country farmhouse style. Guests will enjoy the high speed internet and Smart TVs with Amazon firesticks in the living room and bedrooms. There is a large sun-room with 10 panoramic windows for guests to the enjoy the scenic views. A large stone outdoor fire-pit is available for guests to use during their stay (firewood not included). The home features antiques for guests to enjoy such as a record player and vintage Schwinn bicycle. Fishing supplies are kept at the house in the garage for guests to enjoy recreational fishing at Old Hickory Lake.
Beautiful Lake Champlain Retreat
This beautiful four bedroom 19th century lake house is located on a 1.5 acre Cumberland Head lot. It offers lake access, with amazing views of Lake Champlain and the Green Mountains of Vermont.
The property is in driving distance to downhill & cross country ski areas. The closest downhill/alpine skiing areas are Beartown (~20 minutes), Whiteface (~45 minutes), and Titus (~60 minutes). A little farther afield are slopes in Vermont. Nordic/cross-country skiing areas are much closer.
The downstairs was renovated with new floors, walls, lighting, and tongue & groove wood ceilings. There is a full bath downstairs. The upstairs has four bedrooms and 1.5 baths. The bedrooms have one queen, one full, two twins, and one twin. There is a pull-out sofa downstairs that can sleep 2.
Enjoy the peace & tranquility of Lake Champlain – views abound from the many tranquil spots on this lake property with green spaces & mature trees. Take the stairs down to the lake for swimming, fishing, camp fires, or simple relaxation -enjoy coffee or wine while viewing Lake Champlain and the Green Mountains of Vermont.
Guests are welcome to pick the apples, blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries found on the grounds. But please don’t pick the grapes – they are for wine-making.
Boaters – there is space to park one boat, jet skis, etc. on the property (north driveway only). There is not a boat ramp or dock on the property. There are several public boat ramps in the area.
